4th Busitema University Annual Science, Technology and Innovation Symposium Call for Abstracts

Busitema University has announced the 4th Annual Science, Technology and Innovation Symposium, scheduled to take place from 23rd to 25th September 2026 at the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Sciences, Arapai Campus in Soroti City. Under the theme "Coordinated Innovations in Science and Technology for Socio-Economic Transformation," researchers, students, and industry experts are invited to submit abstracts addressing six key thematic areas: climate-smart agriculture, next-generation STEM, sustainable engineering, human health systems, gender-inclusive transformative systems, and 4IR technologies. Submission Deadline: 03 August 2026
Notification of Successful Abstracts: 31 August 2026
Submission of Revised Abstracts: 11 September 2026
Payment Details:

Students: 70,000 UGX
Busitema Staff: 100,000 UGX
International Presenters: 300,000 UGX
Submissions must be made online via https://bustis.busitema.ac.ug.
 Full papers will be considered for publication in a peer-reviewed special issue.
