The annual conference on science, technology, and innovation at Busitema University (BUSTIC2023)
Statutory Instrument No. 22 of 2007 established Busitema University as a public multi-campus University. The University was founded with the goals of facilitating fair access to higher Education, fostering innovation and research, disseminating knowledge, progressing acquiring knowledge, and hastening the socioeconomic transformation of rural communities.
Yearly, Busitema University will host a conference that will bring together scholars, decision-makers, and practitioners to exchange fresh insights regarding the application of Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) in addressing issues such as industrialization, health, and climate change as they pertain to local communities. Furthermore, the conference will offer a chance to discuss National priorities that align with the STI regulations.
2.0. Venue and Dates
The Busitema University 2nd Annual Science, Technology and Innovation Conference 2023 will be held at the Faculty of Engineering Conference Center from 24th to 25th May 2023.
3.0. Participants
Participants of the BUSTIS2023 will primarily come from academic institutions, research organizations, senior-level policy makers and administrators, representatives of civil society, NGOs, and the private sector, including philanthropic organizations present in the region
