Programme Summery

The Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine Program trains specialists in Internal Medicine. Training emphasises: a fund of medical knowledge, pathophysiology of disease, practical clinical skills and patient management; the design, conduct and analysis of a clinical research project and critical analysis of the literature. 

Entry Requirements
  • A degree in health sciences e.g MBChB, BSc Nursing, B. Pharmacy, BDS, BSc Physiotherapy and BVM
  • A degree in biological sciences e.g Biology, Laboratory sciences, Nutrition
  • A degree in social science e.g Social work, Sociology, Economics, Demography and Statistics
Target Group

This programme targets medical practioners who are fully registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners’ Council. Foreign applicants who posses the documents required for registration by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practioners’ Council at the time of their application to indicate that they are eligible for registration can also enroll for this programme.
